The book isn't for the faint-hearted beginner; even the only material, like valuation of a perpetuity (see company Finance by Brealey & Myers - terribly easy) happens in a very type that the beginner or skim-reading manager won't readily recognise (chapter five, section 1A, pages 138-139); however then this book isn't for them.
