Thoroughly covers most aspects of equity valuation

I saw the author speak at a conference that prompted me to shop for the book. His presentation and book nicely merge theory with observe -- too several valuation books are educational and do not handle the real-life issues. He looks to anticipate the categories of real-life challenges you will get and then tells you ways to handle them (about 0.5 the book addresses these "loose ends" that are not perpetually lined in additional basic valuation material). I particularly like that he is embraced valuation strategies beyond DCF (such as P/E and P/B) as a result of purists tend to dismiss these alternative strategies as too crude for serious consideration(in his book he acknowledges that solely 100% of Wall Street valuations are done with DCF). His net web site is nice for practitioners as a result of you'll be able to download the raw numbers for thousands of firms and do the valuation steps he highlights within the book.
